Hello

This blog is about my family. We all live in Manitoba. A snowless Winter never happens here, and if it has happened, it was way before my time!!!!!

My family consists of 6 people, a cat and a goldfish. I won't mention the spider my dd just found in her room, or the numerous dust bunnies that are residing under my couch.

Today in Manitoba it reached a whooping 15c.. again, an "almost never happens" kind of day. We aren't complaining! Most are rejoicing! Hip Hip Hooray for Mother Nature!!! Keep up the good work missy!!!

My husband is a high school teacher. He gets a little crazed at times. I am a stay at home mom and yeah, I get a little crazed as well. My children -- four in total. Charlie is 11, Tyler is 9, Zoë is 5 (almost 6) and Emily is 2 (almost 3). We are a busy family, thanks to the children. We live modestly, which is another name for "we are crammed into a sardine box." My husband dreams of winning the lottery and quitting his job the next day - although I remind him I won't let him do that!!! LOL

So, this blog is about our survival. The -40c days that are looming in our future, well, near future and our lives in general.

This will be a funny blog, a nasty blog, a not so articulate blog. My spelling will be horrible at times, and others perfection!

I may not make sense, but let's just blame that on the windchill! The igloo will only warm up so much!
